Gallentine's Day in the Bronx

We had a wonderful ​Galentine's Day at a domestic violence shelter here in The Bronx. We wanted to show the importance of self-love to the ladies. We had childcare watch the children so the mamas could have some time.
Each lady had breakfast, took home a self-help book, an inspirational book of quotes, a tote bag, lipstick, cookies, chocolate lollipops, treats, etc. The children had coloring books, toys, and treats in the playroom. Thank you to Angie E. Rivera for her gorgeous decor, as always!

Mosaic Mental Health was there and had one on one sessions with the ladies. Thank you Mayra. Simone donated 50 copies of her book, signed them, and made a speech about love. Thank you to The Riverdale Mom's Book Club for donating 50 copies of "You Are A Badass." This was a beautiful event for the ladies! We do not take photos of the people in the shelters.
